Biography
Dr. Alicea Evans is a clinical neuropsychologist with extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan, with particular expertise in working with children, adults, and individuals with histories of substance use. As a woman of color, she brings both lived experience and cultural humility to her clinical work, integrating evidence-based practices with a deep awareness of the systemic barriers that impact access to mental health care.
Her clinical interests include the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive and learning differences, and the intersection of psychological functioning and sociocultural context. She is especially passionate about working with underserved populations, including BIPOC communities, individuals navigating poverty and trauma, and families with limited access to culturally responsive care.
Dr. Evans is committed to providing affirming, developmentally informed, and strengths-based evaluations that support clients in understanding their unique profiles and accessing the resources they need to thrive.
